Team Squid Suc/kers - "object shown at actual size"
About this creation
Yes, the good ol' gameboy, my first entry for round 2.
I was walking through my flat looking for something to build and just couldn't resist to try my hands at this one. Well, I hope you like it!

The gameboy actually folds up.

comparison to a real one.

I also built a little disc (or whatever to call it), that really fits into the gameboy's slot

...and is kept there.

It was quite a challenge to create the upper part, light grey on the one side, dark grey on the side and still not higher than a 1x1 brick (in SNOT position). So this is how I managed it.

I would have been okay with the screen, if you had done something about the buttons. 4 points.

Hey that is a great looking Lego replica. Everything looks very funny and though serious, that's a serious upgrade property for a real artist. The only thing are the buttons: You did a good job, but I'd add some coverage on top of them.

Judges! I nailed all that stuff first! Naw, you guys still noticed it so all good!

The discs are cartridges. Nice build!

Nicely done. It would need a few more things to make it a five (like a screen, and some better work on the buttons), but it is certain worthy of four (4) points. Lee.

I'm giving this a 3/5 mini-fig heads for several reasons. My first and foremost complaint is that the screen is not raised and is not completely square. Maybe if you some how used tiles to make it level with everything else it would be good. Second the buttons. If they were raised and if you used studs for the A, B, START,Brightness, and SELECT buttons and have the arrow pads raised. Finally, the cartridge. It doesn't fit in perfectly like the actual SP. It is hard to make it so, so I'm not going to be as harsh with that. Anyway I like the power switch, how you made the cartridge design, and how it opens up. Still a good (that's 3/5!) MOC from you! Maybe when the mocathalon is over you can make a V.2!

Arghhh...! Ich wollte gerade meine Version des GB Sp posten, aber jetzt bau ich doch lieber was neues! Klasse Moc, die Details sind echt wunderbar, meine Umsetzung war lange nicht so gut. Besoders gut finde ich die Klappfunktion!

Amazing! That's packing a lot of details and realism in a small footprint! Great job!
