About this creation








I have finally builded it.
My French Mallet is complete! It's a copy from engine 414 from the
Chemin de Fer du Vivarais (railway from the Vivarais).
I have travelled a lot behind this engine, and I like it very much.
This is a Mallet. The two bogies have cilinders and that makes it
a very powerful engine. It rides on narrow gauge lines.
The boiler does not only have black bricks. It has grey but
you can't see it.

The train is a copy from Le Mastrou that rides on the CFV.
It rides between Tournon-sur-Rhône and Lamastre trough the
Doux valley. It was saved by volunteers in 1970, but because
it doesn't have enough money it closed temporarily in 2008.
For how long I don't know but I hope the local government and the volunteers
get Le Mastrou back on the right track.
I hope you like my creation. The yellow thing on the roof is the whistle.
If this creation gets good comments, I think I'm going to try to build
a Billard railbus.

I've heard about it but that way actually confuses me. I will look it up somewhere. :-s

This is a great engine, the curves used give it a realistic look. The advantage with steam engines is that they can pull more than one kind of car, unlike the modern trains where one kind of piece is needed.

i have built one have a look the same but the cylinder box thing forgot the name... is different mine goes inwards instead of outwards

i have seen one of these on a dvd and it was pulling more then 12 wagons! i may build one of these
