NFA Advanced Main Battle Tank

Nilfisk Arms presents its best vehicle yet. Armed with a hard-hitting 93mm gun, 2 AG12 machineguns and 1 AG14 machinegun, these tough metal packages are built to withstand--and deliver--far more punishment than a conventional tank.
About this creation
I haven't been building much these days, since I'm on such a tight budget for pieces. All my other projects have absorbed huge amounts of pieces. By this point, I was using the method where I throw a bunch of pieces on top of each other until they fall into a suitable arrangement.

An AMBT with all the hatches closed.

With factions such as C.O.P. and the MAOX fielding bigger and deadlier vehicles than ever, UOA tank crews were desperate for a reliable tank with good mobility and an effective gun. Hearing their complaints, NFA put its engineers to work on a next-gen tank. The AMBT was the result.

During testing, the AMBT proved almost invulnerable to medium field guns and small-arms fire. The AMBT uses lightweight but strong titanium deflective armor, that can deflect up to 32mm cannon rounds. The light weight of the armor means that the tank can have lots of armor without gaining much weight.

There was one occasion where the crews reported that 6 AMBTs held up an entire A.M.K. armored division with their 93mm guns. The crews said it could "blow a turret clean off", among some other things. But this is made by NFA. Overkill is our specialty, as well as lame jokes.

A view from above. The AMBT has a crew of three: a commander/radio operator, a driver/machine gunner, and a main gunner/technician.

A plate piece on the back can be removed to reveal the engine, an NFA ME2010 model.

The bottom of the tank. I connected all the wheel mounts to that they wouldn't snap off--a big problem when this tank was in its early stage.

Crew members beside their vehicle.

This thing originally started out as an ugly prototype, but I managed to refine it into the beautiful thing it is today :)

A beautifully crafted tank. I keep trying make tanks, but they all end up looking like APC's. Nothing so elegant as this.

Looks really great. Hope the turret will not turn while the soldiers are looking in the sky ;-)

I'm flattered you would bow to me. That's... about 4 people who would, now. For the tank itself, I like the turret and hatches, but I think the bottom could be arranged a little nicer. Then again, I know what it's liked to be pressed for parts.

This is one sweet lookin' tank! I really like the scale you made it in. Plus that main gun is nicely built. Excellent job.
