Yes, Mister Bones hit the road again, this time down to Anaheim, California and a five day trip to Disneyland! Bones was accompanied by VYB Builder and Leda Face on the trip! (Leda Face had some sort of argument with her creator and flew to the US to visit Bones)
Before you divulge, apologies for some of the photos, my creator used two different cameras on the trip and he kept screwing up the settings….he’s a moron.
About this creation
We kicked off our first day in Toontown; here is a shot of VYB, Leda and me at the town square fountain. Not sure who the mouse is, but his ugly, deformed head was all over that park!
We went on Roger Rabbit; I tried to hit on Jessica Rabbit until Leda told me it was a statue….how embarrassing. Then we went on Gadgets Go Coaster. Folks, 25 minute wait and a 30 second ride. Seriously, 30 seconds.
We wandered around and went on some other rides, did not take photos on all of them as we were already getting strange looks. I think it was the “I’m Evil” shirt my creator was wearing. Anyway, here we are standing in line for Space Mountain. I am the black lump…..
So the genius that was snapping the pictures turned on the flash….I was blind for a solid 15 minutes. I told you he was a moron. Notice that is the same hand from VYB’s Float MOC.
Here is a little shot of us by some crazy duck statue in front of some hot chicks’ castle. I almost got kicked out of the park for pinching Sleeping Beauty on the buttocks. The bear is the Downtown Disney Build a Bear surprisingly purchased in Downtown Disney.
There is the Matterhorn behind us, it was closed for refurbishment, and I was one angry undead guy! The Yeti and I go way back and we were looking forward to knocking up some chic…um, I mean knocking back some beers.
We included this shot so you all could see the graffiti on the base of the squirrel statue. Amazing what g@d d@mn idiots some people are. Some stupid knucklehead thought he or she was being real clever to deface Disneyland. Man I loathe people.
After my tirade, the ladies thought a bit of breakfast was in order. We headed to Downtown Disney and had some pansy French-Southern hybrid of a doughnut called a beignet and some rather good Chicory coffee.
Then it was back to the park! This train ride looked interesting.
A little something to look at while waiting in line, BONES!! HAHAHAHA.
Here I am on the ride, Big Thunder Mountain Railroad it was called, lots of good stuff to look at on the ride, but most of the photos did not turn out.
Then we went on Splash Mountain. The song is almost as annoying as that damn Small World song, but the ride is loads better!
Here are a couple of shots of me before the first drop.
Like my USA World Cup shirt? Go USA! (We are SO going to lose)
A great example of my creator’s crappy photographing skills. This is a shot of VYB, Leda Face and I in front of Haunted Mansion; we went on this ride about 10 times in the five days.
Here is me and some jacked up pussy cat outside the Alice in Wonderland ride. Look close, I am there. I need a new photographer.
Since the line for this ride was always 30 minutes plus, we never got on it, but I did get to hang with this bunny for awhile. He made me late for lunch though. I am in his hand by the clock. (note: Go see Alice in Wonderland, Johnny Depp is awesome, as always)
We wandered around the corner and meandered on Snow White, (the ride, not the hot little Goth Princess) having seen Spooky Bones MOC of this, thought I would check out the real thing. Spooky’s is nothing like the ride by the way. This shot is in line, a little dungeon scene.
Once again with the flash…..idiot.
Check this out! I am on the Indiana Jones ride! Pretty darn cool ride, went on this about 10 times.
VYB Builders creator wanted to go to the petting zoo behind Big Thunder. In this shot Leda and VYB are holding me back from attacking a goat. The goat called me a boney stupid head, oh it was on! The girl walking towards us? That is VYB Builder’s creator.
We spent the afternoon at the Lego store in DT Disney and I had my photo taken with Darth Vader. Grabbed a couple of those cool Lego games while we were there!
Here is me and Indy! (I am between his feet) Shortly before this photo was taken, a little boy walked between me and the camera, we were waiting for him to move past when the little psycho spotted me. He ripped off my hair, head and upper torso in about 5 seconds. Bloody crazy assed kids! The Mom just laughed and said, “No, whatever his name was, we can’t play now.” Some people should not have kids.
Then we went over to California Adventure, the other Disney park across from Disneyland. Here is a shot of us getting ready to go on Grizzly Rapids. Man did we get wet!
And a shot of me with a giant bear after the ride. He looks surprised to find me there.
We went on a lot of other rides, the photos either did not come out or we were not able to take pictures. All in all we had a great time, Leda Face was even happy by the end of the trip, so hopefully she and Leda Kat are getting on better. The last thing to do was enjoy a cold one back in the hotel room. Until the next road trip, keep on brickin’!
Dem Notes: As you may have noticed Dem Bones is closed. This little nugget was produced prior to the closing and Bones insisted we post it. This will be the final MOC for some time as the studios are in dire need of re-organization, the NCAA Tournament is starting, and frankly, we are all a little sick and tired of building. I have a photo of Goofy, my daughter and I that I will add to this MOC, forgot to bring the photo with me today. I found it, there it is below us with some more of Mister Bones' commentary.
As promised, here is my creator and VYB's creator with some goofy dog dude. Please note my creators shirt....and he thinks we were getting strange looks because of me.
This is the jackass of a goat that was taunting me. Stupid goat.
sweet im taking Ford Figgy on a trip this christmas the DT disney store in FL is huge but the one in CA has better creations except the lock ness monster in lake buena vista thats in DTD FL :D I love space mountain awsome trips bones.~Ford
Haha!! Looks like it was fun! I went to Disney WORLD in Orlando over Spring Vacation, was that train rollercoaster you went on "Thunder Mountain" by any chance? It seemed it was, I brought my sigfig along as well. Great commentary, it's always great to have those jokes creating a silver lining about the whole thing.
Nice... if the goat saw that, though, well... let's just say he'd put his horns to use.
The goat is the goat of your jokes, and in this situation. Right now, though, I'm the one who's the goat. So... call me the goat.
Quoting Architect of Vonthako
So we finally have a face to go with the name, huh? Great commentary as usual! Random quesion: Have you considered putting a top hat on Mr. Bones and having him masquerade as Baron Samedi?
HAHAHA, there is another pic of me in the Reno Road Trip MOC. Yes, the thought of having Bones do a Samedi bit has crossed my mind.
ha!30 minute wait times. you must not be familiar with cedar point - when millennium force opened i gladly waited in line six hours for two trips. same with the dragster and the maverick. i wish i had brought along my sigfig and photographed him during a pure verticle 100+ mph drop!
