Cart Monster
From LEGO Club Show episode 2's "BUILD" music video.
About this creation

This is the cart monster from the "BUILD" music video.

This was another alternate model build, with the basis coming from the #250 Idea Book. The only real difference in the cart mode is that I adapted it to a Black Falcon color scheme.

From there, the monster mode came pretty quickly. Lots of builders talk about looking at LEGO elements and thinking about how to use them for alternate purposes, and that was exactly what happened with me in this case.

The top of the cart was a hinge, which I took to be the mouth of a creature. From there, it was a matter of, "well, what could this part be transformed into?" A red flag became a forked tongue, a flag holder doubled into a pair of eyes, and the clips in the back that once held spears were perfect for wings to grow out of.

Naturally it would follow that, realizing what had happened to their Queen/Princess, the knights carrying the cart would spring into action, grabbing their weapons to fend of this beast and stop it from eating her majesty.

Awesome work. I saw the music vid. One quick question what video editing software do you use to make your animations?
