The Florentine was my first attempt at a design I had had in my head for a number of months. Called Florentine because of the turret's gun configuration, it is an anti-grav design piloted by a single pilot held in a sort of sarcophagus in the center of the tank. There were 3 things I wanted to work into this model. One is the sensors cluster atop the turret, second is the saddle-bags piece (I managed to add it to the rear of the turret), and third is the Lego mummy sarcophagus, which I mounted under the tank in the center as the place where the pilot jacks into the tank.
The Florentine is outfitted with two light neutron cannon turrets on the sides, which would ward off lighter craft that could catch this fast tank. Another light cannon is mounted on the left side of the turret, and a heavy Rail Cannon is mounted on the right as a main cannon.
Story-wise, the Rail Cannon (aka Collapsar Gun) fires tiny pellets of collapsed matter at relativistic velocities. The impact of any object at such speeds sends a severe shock into a shielding system, and for unshielded targets, the reaction between any matter with the collapsed matter causes severe damage to the armor on the molecular level.
