The 2010 Tower - Restaurant/Observation Deck
The 2010 Tower; based on the original 1990 Tower. Built 20 years ago.
About this creation
The 2010 Tower, based on the original design I built back in 1990, has now been completed. For more information on the idea see the other creation in this folder; the 1990 Tower.

The Tower stands at approx. 130cm (not including spire). The design is simple; nine floors in total with a staircase running from the top floor to the ground. At the time of writing three of the nine floors had been finished; the lobby (1), the Restaurant (8) and the Observation Deck (9).

All of the floors in the new building are based on the floors in the 1990 Tower. In the 1990 Tower there was an observation deck at the very top and a restaurant was directly underneath.

More pictures of the Tower will be added when the other floors are finished. At the moment there are six floors available. I've not yet decided what to do with the other ones. Maybe the 2010 Tower will be a white elephant...

On the very top floor is the observation deck. Underneath, the wide expanse of trans-black glass, is the restaurant.

Another view of the 2010 tower, borrowing elements from the 1990 tower.

It stands roughly 130cm high.

The 1990 tower had a restaurant underneath the observation deck. In keeping with this the 2010 tower has a restaurant underneath the observation deck.

In 'reality' this is on the eighth floor; the observation deck on Floor 9.

Although you can't see it in this photograph there is a ceiling fan above the table at the far left of the photograph

The original tower had an observation deck on the very top floor. As I am aiming to capture the spirit of the first one it was necessary to place an observation deck on top of the tower.

There is a display board (back of picture) with a spotlight hanging above it; a queue line with three posts and a large viewfinder (far left).

Behind the green plate (far right) is the admission desk
