About this creation
Ah, November 2009, what a month! Thirty-odd says of nothing but ships based on the classic Vic Viper (two forward prongs, two rear wings and single tail). Some of these I was happy with, others were just mediocre, but it's always fun to build within a set of rules and see how crazy you can get.

This one is based on something from the old TV show "Space 1999"

Hard to photograph and not 100% sure about this one:

This one started off as a retro/UFO ship but it featured way too much black so it became a Martian Viper.

I can't bear to look at this one-what was I thinking? I can't do SP3 justice...

Ok, I have to admit, this next one I LOVE! Introducing the 'Infinity Plus One' Flown by Capt. Goodness, leading his 'Nice Squad' in their quest to rid the galaxy of nastiness! (I adore that Fisher Price style)

No, no, no! Moving on...

Orinthomimus X8 Coupe Vic Viper, a luxurious personal spaceship for the person with way too much money.

Tron-inspired, red, scorpion, alien type thing that didn't really live up to expectations.

Average:

Fantasy colours! (hey, I guy can dream can't he?)

Yay! This one I love; the idea was to hide a Vic Viper under a suit of armour, if you will, perhaps for radiation-sheilding? I wanted to show a hint of the classic white Viper underneath-it would'v been cooler to have more than just the prongs showing but oh well (I'd love to do a SHIP with patterning like this ship, angular and chunky...just like me...)

Back to my beloved toy-style: the Gordak Viper.

Rejects:

Yet more rejects:

Sketches :)

Thanks for looking guys. Stay safe and keep it blocky (by any means necessary)!

How did I miss this page? Wow. Alot of cool little builds, I really loved that black and neon green one, totally wicked design, and the rejects were fun too. One of them looked like a whacked out cylon raider, with its wings clipped, or that might just be me! lol. Your entries seem to have so much value for the 'dollar', great work...

Nice Marvin reference there. And can I just say... TRON, mmmm. LOVE TRON. Love your work space by the way. Seeing that always makes me feel organized and clutter free... HAHA ~ Chris.

And now, I finally know what a Vic Viper is! Yes, I take a long time to catch on, thanks for noticing. I like the weird ones, like the Martian one.

Nice work, Shannon! I love all of them! I always find it funny to look at the ones you rejected, because if I would have made them, they would be some of my best works. Great job on yet another stunning compilation.

A ton of variety and some excellent techniques. I might have to try building one of these sometime. -Sam
