'Puncher' - Am-Space two-seat Fighter
This is my new series. When the 'Alien War' broke out, the U.S.A neglected to ratify the G.A.I.A alliance, and have continued to maintain democratic soveriegnty. All planets under American control are simply treated as states under the same constitution of the all governing U.S.A, still directed by the President out of Washington, Earth.
About this creation
The 'Puncher' is a mainstay pre-war fighter for the U.S.A. It saw most operation in the same time as era that saw the Euro-Space Fighter dominate the galaxy's space. It has a rear facing cocpit which in fact is a gunner's seat for firing the rear facing plasma cannons. Fast and well armed, the Punchers only draw back was its minimal range. Experimentation was made at increasing range, but the cost to maneouvarablity proved too great.

Eventual parents to G.A.I.A Ace Tanya Roberts, Dwayne Roberts and Victoria Nash, are pictured on a typical roof top take-off platform somewhere near Nevada.

4

A crash landing on the foggy planet of Italbar. The duo spend some seven weeks marooned on the still mostly hostile planet, in which time their many harrowing ordeals and adventures, helps lay the foundations for the co-pilots eventual life together.

The Punchers Euro Space counterpart is about to cross over across above it during a co-operative flight drill in the Horse Head Nebulah.

Quoting Topsy Creatori(StoveTop nomore!) Doing a bit of viewing/visiting and playing catch-up on things that happened and were built before my time on the pages! Cool retro ship! :)
A fun thing to do, one I have indulged in on occasion myself :) Yeh, this is SO retro, total fun, and my first Am-Space vehicle. Couldn't tell the GAIA story without including America somehow!
