Forged out of a volcano, The Flaming Remnant will explode in your face!
About this creation
Well, where shall I begin about this creation? For the first time I have begun to use LDD because of the complexity and magnitude of this build. Planning is key to success. Without the LDD, the design of this vessel would not have been possible, or at least a 100 times harder to achieve. Many hours was still needed for design and construction. Letīs take a close look shall we?
As the title says itīs called "The Flaming Remnant" and the captain is known by the name of Ghone Bannon...one of the least known, yet one of the most vicious pirate captains of the Caribbean sea in the late 17th century...
Yeah you guessed right...those teeth are covered in the blood of itīs victims, and of course, The Remnant will never brush itīs teeth! ;) Ahhhh ya feel the breeze??
Wind in our sails! Letīs catch the horizon! Hrrrmm captain, something is wrong...
What the hell is THAT CREAKING SOUND???
ArrRggGGHHh, DEFEND THE BRIDGE!!! Waste that bloody zombie!
Shoot for hell and glory, die zombie die!
Haha yes itīs Brickfrogs own pirateflag....some kind of frog and now thereīs another bloody monster, CRAWLING UP UP! AVAST!!!
What the f***...captain another one!!! Mohahahaha...my rusty axe in your fleshy head!

Nooooo those skinny zombies are not of my interest...letīs fix this sail instead!

I donīt know what is going on over there, but man, I want to KILL something!!!

Itīs my first creation since I came out of my lego dark age and also the first LDD design I ever did :) Haha as sinister as the volcano it was forged out of! It proudly sits on my top shelf now.

great ship! I love the color scheme, it s kind of ghotic horror supernatural esque! the teeths are anice touch! it s very fitting! too bad for the stern, it would have looked a little better with the right part, but, it s hardly noticeable, it takes a zealous thorough guy like me to see that! lol! great work! |

Thanks for your comment on my ship of the line. Just beware there are above 400 pounds of death in a broadside of the HMS Portland class! However the true pirate chaser of my ships is the brig HDMS Lougen, I think it matches your ship in both size and guns and could probably outrun anything in the Caribbean in its day. http://www.mocpages.com/moc.php/292321 and http://www.mocpages.com/moc.php/306795 But then again if your ship is in zombie infested waters I think I will let my ships stay in friendly waters instead. Btw this ship of yours really look the part of the menacing zombie/pirate ship, I think any sailor would get the creeps should this appear in the horizon. Cheers Capn |

the creepy colers you have chosen are awesome, red and black does never fail, and espcialy in this case, the whole shape is georgious, and the self made hull is great, the best ive seen so far, your ship are a inspiration,

Well, I believe some fall for this kind of vessel, but I reckon spaceships are more popular, but Iīm satisfied with the response anyway! Haha thanks, lucky me to put so many hours into one model ;)The sheets of paper for the sails were already black from the beginning...quite hard work to make them look good, lots of measuring and cutting. Haha my next big project will also be designed in LDD...stay tuned
