Calm Before the Storm
Sometimes all you have is a bullet and a dream, So pray to god you don't miss. Words to live by.
About this creation

Coalition forces encounter an abandoned road block as they advance deeper into the city of Really-New York, Sirius IV.

Local police evacuate the remaining population.

A small group of U.N.E. soldiers wait for the sniper to take the shot before engaging the coalition forces.

The sniper

The spotter

The target: The coalition commander. Admiring the foliage.

A U.N.E. soldier waiting for the sniper to take the shot so that he can attack.

Entrance to
Station 13.

Not much to see here...

A monument to the colony vessel that brought the people to this planet, with a computer console for more information.

A hastily erected medical shelter.

A really crappy picture of the entire MOC from above.

Sorry Dawn, but you got smoked on this one. That's not to say you don't have some good stuff going on here...I like the general layout. And the bits of color along with the SNOT road are nice touches. But, Juan really kicked it up a notch on his creation with great color work, SNOT work, action, and detail. It had it all.

Quoting Matt The Backward One Excellence. Absolutely wonderful. The reference to "Skirmish at Station 13" was brilliant! I couldn't recognize the what the road-blocks were until you said what they were, so there is some room for improvement there. And if you weren't strapped on time, I would've asked for more pictures, but in this case, I'm all right about it. My favorite part of the build was the bridge and the soldier's taking cover! The Coalition's in a heap of trouble! I also love the introduction, it really sucked me into the MOC. Brilliant work, 5/5!
Thanks, I'll get those extra pics up soon.

Isn't it wierd how there's TWO MOCs on "popular today" BOTH called "calm before the storm"? and their both different builders!

Detailed street fight. Like the small huts, it's like an early space colony build by containers.

I gotta say, awesome job! Admiring the foliage? May he he wants to figure out the best way to turn it into a nano-virus or something... Great build!
