This moc is for the 2010 mech contest in the category of Exoforce. I'm wasn't sure if there was a certain style for exoforce, so i just built a mech and threw an exoforce minifig in it (hopefully this counts). Anyway, This design came to me in the middle of math class a couple months ago. It didn't really turn out the way i envisioned it but i'm kind of late to the party :) You never know, i might make a V2 of this!
About this creation

Here is the head design that i've been fantasizing about for months now. It's a ball made of plates with a couple of modifications, such as a hatch and "eye".

Here is the front hatch opened. And here is the exoforce minifig! Don't bother asking me who that is because i have NO idea! (i never was a big fan of exoforce)

Here are it's legs. I'm not really sure about them. They almost look too long, but they will have to do...

Side.

Back.

The back of the head.

It has a large cannon on it's right arm.

And a chain gun on it's left arm.

I really like the head. However, I must agree, Exo Force mechs tend to be rainbow-y... I mean colorful. Awesome design though :)

Score of Four, the Body just isn't colorful enough to warrant a five, it would seem more for a robot.

Quoting david drake Did you start with a basic 6-sided sphere design, plates and modified bricks holding it all together?
That's exactly what i did :)

It would have been more exoforceish if you had put an evil robot in it. As it is, it's just an outstanding mech :)

The build is outstanding and the head design has to be one of my favorites. I think that the arms and the legs here are the most reminiscent of Exo-Force. 5 points.

nice smooth sleek look! I especially like the modified sphere that you used for the head. That's a good idea. Did you start with a basic 6-sided sphere design, plates and modified bricks holding it all together?

I love the retro look of this one. It looks like something from a very old sci fi.

Amazing, I mean just amazing, 5 Points, here's some things that caught my eye: The Ribcage: I love the twisted look of it, and just the look and poseability is just darn sweet! The Head: Cool shape and design, I noticed the robot hands and minifig hands around the "Mouth Area", and thought, "This thing must have a jaw!" because it looks like tendons on the Terminator heads that are connected to the mouth. Overall, 5/5, just wish I could rate higher! Can't wait to see more from you! [Idea: Maybee you should make a copy, just in another color!]

This is a really cool one! It reminds me with this red "T-visor" to my Leonidas I'd built for the MocOlympics! Maybe you will have a look on it ;-) Amazing work! - Kevin

Hey, where's the crazy greebling on this thing? Just kidding. This is pretty awesome! I love the sphere for a head idea (I will be doing a similar idea). I'd say make the feet bigger and the arm joints thicker. Maybe make one of the arms open up like a claw. Just some ideas. Good luck, dude!
