The Super War Chariot was, of course, designed as the successor to the original War Chariot. Many vastly great improvements have been made to the original vehicle, pretty much to the point that it is an entirely new vehicle- why it was decided to call it the Super War Chariot instead of simply the War Chariot Mk. II.

War Chariots are the most famous and infamous units in all of the Egyptian Army, and have been for thousands of years. However, they are famous(and infamous) today because of the nature of their pilots and the tactics used by the Egyptian Chariot Corps. Chariot pilots are said to have absolutely no regard towards their own life whatsoever- they are completely insane and happy-go-lucky in their pursuit of the mission objective. Like the rest of the men and women of the Egyptian armed forces, they are extremely creative, inventive, brave, and totally wild- which when combined with creative and inventive results in their " complete insanity."

Pilots will often perform tactics and maneuvers so unconventional they often gain an advantage from the element of surprise, exploitation of an overlooked enemy weakness, or the enemy's extreme confusion. These tactics most often involve daredevil acts of sheer insanity and power, such as an entire squadron smashing through a warehouse window just barely large enough, landing on top of a an enemy frigate leaving dock, nearly sinking the frigate, then jumping off and landing on a road right in front of an enemy armored column(inflicting even more damage). However unlikely scenarios such as these may be, Egyptians are Egyptians. They ALWAYS find a way to have fun and be happy. Always.

However, as previously stated, Egyptian chariot pilots are said to have no regard for their own lives- this statement is reflected in the relatively large numbers of losses chariots usually take. They are insane, and although the vehicle includes an ejection seat, it often gets them killed. Although it is titanium plate, and is sufficient to deflect any small arms fire, the chariot is susceptible to even 20mm cannon fire. There is also always the issue of pilot mis-maneuver- the vehicle smashing into an obstruction at 150mph or rolling or flipping and crashing and burning. Fortunately, Super War Chariots are relatively cheap compared to other vehicles similar in size and role, and are easily replaced.

The Super War Chariot uses overwhelming speed to evade enemy projectiles and missiles, as well as to outrun any serious threat. The chariot is an ultra-lightweight material, constructed from the lightest titanium alloys and fiber-composites. Also lightweight is the Egyptian hardware(and enclosed software), which it is known for. The chariot is powered by a Hydrogen Fuel-Cell Hyper-Cycler, a hyper-charged hydro-electric turbine engine capable of propelling the vehicle at a top speed of 200 miles per hour, although usual speed in nearly half that. Electromagnetic brakes can slow the vehicle from top speed to a standstill in exactly nine seconds, and hypershock suspension prevents the vehicle from sustaining major damage when falling from near 200 feet.

The vehicle is armed with two heavy machine guns for targets such as foot-mobiles, lightly armored vehicles, and sometimes helicopters. The guns are aimed using the conventional aircraft-style sight or the HUD gun sight.

The chariot's primary armament consists of six medium-ranged advanced Nubian-made anti-tank radar guided missiles fired from a box launcher on a turret on the back of the vehicle. The missiles are highly effective against a variety of armored vehicles, namely main battle tanks, infantry fighting vehicles, armored personnel carriers, self-propelled guns, and other armored fighting vehicles, plus armored structures, bunkers, emplacements, and even low flying aircraft, helicopters, and VTOLs.

The missiles use a "fire-and-forget" system that allows multiple missiles to be fired at multiple targets without losing guidance. Targets are selected using the touch-screen command interface's radar. The target on radar is acquired by the advanced fire-control computer and the missile itself. The launcher aims and fires, and the missile guides itself to the target unless a kill signal is sent by the chariot to destroy the missile in the event of a mis-targeting accident. The missile can also be manually aimed and fired using the command interface and a camera on the launcher and in the missile.

The Super Chariot is usually deployed in squadrons with a squadron leader, like fighter jets, however as the numbers increase the divisions become the same as any other armored vehicle. Chariots are usually deployed in relatively large numbers as the spearhead of and attacking Egyptian Army formation. They are highly fast, highly deadly, and highly crazy. They are always the cutting edge, and they are always there to serve the land. They are epic and they are awesome- they are the Egyptian Chariot Corps.

Quoting Jake H. Really nice, I'm a big fan of that missile box design.
Thanks, I thought it was one of my best ideas. However, this vehicle is now obsolete, and has been replaced by the gloriously awesome Hyper War Chariot. http://www.mocpages.com/moc.php/225482

Very nice! I like it a lot more than the old ones, and the missile launchers are especially good. And I am also impressed by the speed and crazy tactics, it sounds like they must be a lot of fun to watch. Have you checked this out yet: http://www.mocpages.com/moc.php/195713 I would appreciate it if you would, thanks! ~T

Quoting Finn C-Q Yes I have tried 3 times because I will actually post in it I want a country like artica and could I get in? (that's what he said)
I have no power in the group, not even to accept no members, and it seems you have already commented on the page you're supposed to, so the only thing I can do is talk to the current admins and maybe if you have a Flickr account, you could Flickr mail them. They are Dr. Spontaneous, Jeffrey Smith(pmjredsox on Flickr), and Michael and Jack Ford, who aren't very active. I'll let them know you're interested.

Quoting Nick Shelton Like the streamline color scheme. A suggestion, take off the weapons, and it would go faster and be a recon vehicle.
I could make a recon version, but DUDE, IT GOES 200 FRICKIN' MILES PER HOUR! DO YOU REALLY THINK IT NEEDS TO GO ANY FASTER?
