A light-weight off-road racing mech.
About this creation
Built on the idea of blending mechs with racing.
Edit (7/21/06): Here's a few quotes from my original post in a certain Bionicle related forum.
"In my imaginary world where this mech comes from, each mech pilot builds his or her own mech to race with. There are three classes of mechs: light-weight, middle-weight, and heavy-weight. (The one above is of course a light-weight.) All the racing would take place over rocky and hilly terrain."
"The use of low powered weapons is allowed only for trying to disable your opponent's mech. Makes it more exciting that way."
Also, the mechs can be designed for racing on different terrain. Such as swamp, desert, ice, and so on.

This racer looks pretty cool and fast !
I only think that a foot with 3 pedestals would be more stable in terrain... But really nice ! |

Good racer, reminds me ED209. No really, I like the model. Grey and red are reliable colors for a robot, thatīs a good combination. |

This is Pretty cool looking. I'm glad that there is a Mini fig for a size resenblence. And it looks like the Piolet would just in the cockpit, not laydown. And its the future, mabey its got a HUD to look at? Ah well, Whatever, I like it. |

This is great. It definately looks light-weight. And, you guys, it's the future! The piolet probably has, like, 20 senser readings projected on his screen! One little problem though. Are those feet ideal for racing? It almost looks like the mech has high-heels...Review some of my stuff, si vous plait. |

What the heck are you talking about Caleb!!? The mech probably runs in a straight line, so the pilot does'nt need to see much. I don't get how that could possably count off two points!! Good job on the mech. Keep it up. |

I like this mech a lot. The colour scheme, the legs and the cockpit are all well done (I especially like how the legs look heavily muscled, in a mechanical sort of way... and the feet, I really like the feet). But I think the cockpit could use some work, seeing how the minifig fits into it... he's lying down. How can he race (other than in the luge) if he's lying down and can't really see where he's going. There must be some way to hollow out the cockpit some more and at least let him sit up (I think it would look even better if he could somehow stand up in a sleek control system). |
