Croquet
Introducing the fully playable Lego Croquet set! Comes with everything you see here! Sorry but orders are not being taken at this time.
About this creation

The complete package includes 1 mallet, 6 balls, 4 wickets, and 2 posts!

Ok, now I'm going to stop infomercial mode.

A close-up of the balls with the posts, organized by turns.

Here is the mallet, it is actually really sturdy, and has not broke yet.

The head of the mallet, striped in the color of the respective ball.

The mallet posing with it's playing buddy.

Here's a photo of me lining up the shot through the wicket. If you haven't played croquet before, that's too bad because it's a great game.

Ya! Drained right through the wicket! (Wait, that might not be the correct word...)

Here's me posing with the mallet and ball. Sorry for the angry face, it was morning.

Builder's commentary: My friends and I have actually set up a croquet course in my room and played a couple of rounds. There are some new rules for the Lego version though. Each player gets two balls, and if yours breaks, you can't take a turn until you fix it. Gets kind of frustrating, but I pulled off the win anyway :)

Thanks for looking!

Quoting Dave Kaleta Very cool. Was this an unused idea from the competition? It's quite elegant.
No but while I was building it I thought to myself, why didn't I build this for the MocAthalon!

Wow This is really impressive, Sam! It always amazes me when a builder manages to make a circular shape with lego. Anyway, This an awesome build with really no low point.

Nice idea. The ball technique is an old and common one, so I won't give you points for that. The rest is really good. Good day

You did great on those croquet b@lls, and the mallet is awesome. Who doesn't love mallets? And the hoops are amazing as well. ~Waff

Too bad you don't take any orders, I'd really like to try that out! All parts look very well done and accurate, I love the sweet balls. The rules change made me laugh, that's genial! You would have definitely got a high score in the Athalon, great work!

I really like this whole idea. This would have been fantastic had you entered it in the MOCAthalon. Now you guys need to move from your room to the grass outside and keep playing. No pun intended.
