The multi-ammunition rotary cannon armament is a highly advanced, versatile cannon capable of firing several different projectiles at different RPMs. In order to do this, the MARC-Arm debuts two unique features.
The first of these features is one that makes the loading of different ammunition possible. Although the concept is quite simple, it is in practice, surprisingly difficult. Attached to the rear of the set of four barrels is a tube. Cut into the side of the tube is a rectangular hole, on top of which is placed a mechanism that can change the dimensions of a rectangle. The tube with the mechanism attached can rotate, allowing different types of projectiles to either be loaded into the barrels or blocked from them.
The second feature of the MARC-Arm is the make of its unique barrels. These barrels are made up of several sheets of metal that have been twisted into spirals. When placed together correctly, these sheets of metal create a barrel that can be adjusted in size by the simultaneous twisting of the spiraled sheets. The MARC-Arm will certainly see much use until a more advanced armament replaces it.
