this is my m12 lrv warthog. a proven tough and reliable bone breaking, grunt mushing, hunter crushing beast on wheels!
About this creation
this is a lego warthog based on concepts and ideas of other warthog mocs and my own concepts and designs. you may recognize some of them they might even be yours! if they are they the are some of the best ive seen. thanks ;). but i have to say that this design took alot of time, effort and trail and error so please dont think im some kind of cheap copy cat.

these were my goals for its design:
1. a very hog like body that is true to the real thing
2. a very strong and tough structure that can even hold up to people like my sister (survived a meter high drop test!) and when it did break it only broke into two to three pieces)
3. it had to have all those cool warthog traits like four wheel independent suspension, damage crush zones (halo 2),etc.

im happy and proud to say all these goals were accomplished.

If you have any concerns please read my home page (last part)

i mounted a gauss cannon on the back but i think it looks small

i made it so it falls apart from damage like in halo 2 without making it weak

heres a cool view of its front. the roll bar is inspired by saber scorpion, the shocks are adaptions from streak's warthog, and the double windshield is inspired by legohaulic but everything else is me

the warthog is very strong and so are its turret and cannon variants. also the turrets rotate 360 degrees with minifig attached and if it rolls over they dont break off

Quoting Commander Fox Nice job, but I cannot figure out how to do the suspension on my 'hog. Could you please put a pic on of your suspension? Thanks.
Get the full instructions by looking up my Halo 3 Warthog.

it always seemed to me that when both sides got blown off the front it turned into a fireball.

Great model. The battle droid heads as tusks are a good idea, and I like how it can be destroyed, just like in the game.

I liked the whole idea, but I think you owe that rubberband suspension to me and Scorp =p

another person shows me up. very nice, my only complaint is the windshield. best first attempt ive ever seen. gotta' admit it looks borrowed. My favorite warthog is legohaulic's though

This is great, I espeically like the way you designed the removable parts to show battle damage.

I really like this MOC, although the yellow shocks are pretty distracting.
