Hot Rod is one of the leading  characters in Transformers cartoon
series. Soon to be successor of the Optimus Prime, Autobot leader. Here I name
him Neo Hot Rod due to some obvious design changes especially in his
vehicle mode compared to the original toy.

This, my friend, is where I take my inspiration from.

Neo Hot Rod turns into a sleek looking race car. Basically in my
design here. his transformation sequence are similar to Cybertron Hot Shot, so
you can be expected to see my Neo Hot Rod  here with bulky shoulders.

Design wise, the head is a very tricky part to make. I intended
to 'hide' his head inside his windshield but due it's size, the windshield
refuse to close properly. So finally I tucked it right behind the car. under the 
yellow wings.

The flames too, are quite hard to reproduce, with the current
selection of parts I own.

Somehow I'm pretty much satisfied with this creation as I
managed to put more than 10 points of articulation in his robot mode, including
his ankles and knuckles!
