This is amazing. I always thought the boxy R5 would be perfect for Lego. The proportions are spot on. I love it.

at first, I thought "wow this is really boxy. I don't like it that much" then I saw the real car... PERFECT!

By far the best Lego R5 I have ever seen. Perfect scale. The engine is really cool. You should post it as a separate MOC with instructions. I would like to use it in my R5 that I am building. Only thing I don't like is the fact that you slanted the front.

I really like this. Can you check out mine? I tried to make it in mini-figure scale. Good job!

just as Henrik says, its pure genius! i love that engine! i disagree (sorry) with him when he said "prefer studless" because the R5 is an old car, exactly like the appearance you give it. great job!!

Excellent proportions and details. (The motor is pure genius!) I would prefer a more studless look though.

To me it looks pretty rough like the LEGO' models in the past but it definitely is instantly recognizable. From afar it looks like the real thing, anyways. Keep it up

Great model, build with normal Lego bricks, just a few fancy parts! The engine looks good too.....

When it comes to French-built cars, it doesn't get much cooler! I think you nailed the shape, but my favorite part was under the hood. The engine is pure genius! As always, your attention to the size and detail are flawless! 5/5

Quoting Ape Fight Wow wow wow wow wow! This looks stunning! The second awesome 80's rally car on MOCpages in a week! The shape and details of this are perfect; in fact the only criticism I have is that the pictures are little blurry. An epic build, perfectly captured replica, 10/10
Thanks! :) Yeah Mocpages seems to do something to the pics, but there are better pics available in my BS gallery (when public): http://www.brickshelf.com/cgi-bin/gallery.cgi?f=427375
