Ahh. My love of The Exo force product has been regenerated. This here is an entry into the 2010 Mech Contest under the category of 'Exo Force'. Did you know that I bought every single set? No you didn't, did you. I thought so. That was alot of well-spent money though. Too bad Lego offloaded Exo Force. =( Anyway, comment and rate as you will.
About this creation
Another shot of the pilothouse. I just love the shape of it. Oh, and If you haven't figured it out yet, It's piloted by Ha-Ya-To. My favorite guy. Why was he the only one in the original 4 that was smiling? Hmm...
This battle machine is ownage in a box. Well I guess it's not in a box, but none-the-less it's still sweet.
Everyone likes a big gun. Well, I guess not when one is being pointed at you. Then you hate it, curse yourself for ignoring your tax guy's advice on taking out a life insurance policy in your name, and wish that it was some other schmuck in your position. But in all honesty, if you wind up in this position, it ain't my fault, so put on you big girl panties and deal with it. So where were we now?
Oh yeah, here we were. The arm without the gun. The right arm has several flexing points, as well as some nice detail.
The left arm has a fixed laser rifle. Take note of the beam on the side of the arm.
Arm extended, the beam goes in.
Arm fully retracted, the beam extends all the way. Yes I know how that sounded. I just didn't know how to explain that any other way. Just be quiet and keep reading...
Here's the back of this battle machine. Note the blue studs used for thrusters.
Closeup of the leg details, including two small thrusters.
Tucked in defensive position.
Open attack position.
One of my favorite shots in this selection. *BLAM BLAM BLAM BLAM BLAM BLAM!*
Hahaha! I just pwnd you, you shtinkin' robots! You bet watch your a$$ '3-PO cuz you and your little beepin' friend are next! HAR HAR HAR!!!
Well I wasn't too sure about which one of this type picture I liked best, so I posted two of 'em. I leave it to you to decide which one is better.
When you gotta go do yer business, just open the canopy and frontal plate and get out. It's called 'White Out' for peet's sake. Not 'Yellow Out'.
Another picture of the rifle. This time by itself.
Here are the parts I used for the gun. I dont know why if anyone would wanna build it, but here it is.

I was randomly rereading this one, thinking about how much I liked it when then popped out at me. "It's piloted by Ha-Ya-To. My favorite guy. Why was he the only one in the original 4 that was smiling?" This is because Ha-Ya-To is the Exo Force's Evil Knievel. You are aware you won't get that mech back in one piece, right? I guess that's why I liked him the most. And about getting it back in one piece... that's what Ryo's for.

nice color, nice shape, and nice work on the non-standardized joint parts. And don't forget, we all like to see a nice big gun. 4 Pts. |

Nice design, but the arms look a bit odd to me, still a solid 3 points. |

I agree with Parrington, certainly got a look of the classic Autobot Jetfire to it (which is a good thing). I bought quite a few of the Exo-sets when I came out of my dark ages, but one thing that bugged me was the colour choices. This has all the cool elements that I liked about the official sets AND a nice colour scheme. Lovely leg greebles and nice blaster too. Good job. Thanks! I just looked up the classic Jetfire, and I can see what you're talking about. On a side note, Jetfire has really changed throughout the years!

A beautiful remake indeed. I love the left arm cannon, and the leg design was inspired. I used something similar for the elbows of the Arkham. |
