I made a small moc to honor the tragedy for Poland that happened today, April 10 2010, an airplane carrying the Polish president Lech Kaczyński , his wife, and 97 of the most important polish military and civilian leaders in it crashed in Smolensk, Russia. The Polish officials were there to be in the memorial of the 70th anniversary of the Katyn Massacre when the Russian secret Police Killed 22,000 Polish officers that were captured in the invasion of Poland. Once again, another tragedy is in the cursed forest of Katyn. This moc shows part of the crash with hats of two Polish Generals hanging on the trees, Both killed in the same place, but different times.

Really nice memorial. I just can't understand how hard it would feel for the Polish people to know that their president died in a plane crash. I just can't see turning on CNN and see them report that Air Force One (the U.S. persident's private Boeing 747) had crashed, and the president had died. But, good MOC. |

I was in Warsaw today and I'm shocked about this tragedy. Very sad day for Poland, Europe and all World. Thanks for doing this MOC Kevin, R.I.P

I am part Polish my self (and Russian, and Cherokee, and Czechoslovakian) , and I heard about this this morning and I am deeply saddened. |
