About this creation
Warning: This MOC contains make-believe mech ordnance and capabilities. May be suggestive to some.
The Hellfire Assault Mech is an experimental fighting machine from Space Homeys Interstellar Technologies™.

Top View
Affectionately nicknamed the HAM, this mech is designed to scare enemies even just at the sight of its firepower. If that is not enough to frighten the enemies and convince them to retreat, every ordnance is deployed for maximum destruction.
Weaponry:
* 6 Schlange Missiles (short-to-medium range)
* 2 Quad Autocannons
* 1 Minigun
* 1 Pijevac Cruise Missile (long range and/or for deep penetration)

The heat-seeking Schlange Missiles are deployed initially to set up the HAM's assault. Each missile has the equivalent yield of one Little Boy atomic bomb.

If the missiles do not do their job, the mech surges on. Quad Autocannons flank both sides of the HAM, capable of firing a total of 6900 rounds per minute per Quad Autocannon.

As if the Quad Autocannons are not enough, a Minigun is mounted up front for an all-out carnage!

Finally, the Pijevac Cruise Missile is designed to sneak behind the enemy lines to give it the final blow. The destructive power has the equivalent yield of three Fat Man atomic bombs. It's has the accuracy of hitting a target with a diameter of less than one centimeter. Needless to say, it's a big one. That's one red hot warhead. A big bang would be an understatement.

If the enemy tries to sneak from behind, it better not try to get too close because of …

…. Flatus Ignition! Burn, baby, burn!

You might say the legs are skinny. Of course, they are! It's a chicken walker-type mech after all. It got chicken legs, yo!

Who dat pilotin' da HAM?

A fighting mech like this requires advanced skills and handling to operate and maneuver. The HAM's first fully-trained, qualified pilot is Ace Commander Kitty Overham. Meooowwwrrr!

Simple interior layout. Ace Commander Kitty Overham only needs the target locator screen, the buttons to fire the missiles and guns, and a couple of joysticks to maneuver the HAM. Ahaha … joysticks … haha … ha … moving on.

If the -WAR-head of the cruise missile is replaced with Mr. Bones, does it become a -BONE-head? ... Nevermind ...

The HAM in its full glory! Want a piece of this?

Hellfire, to me at least, seems more like a helicopter name, not as much a Mech. However, if it could transform into a helicopter, then the name would be well deserved. Just my thoughts.

It's really cool, but wouldn't the mech disintegrate itself from firing those missiles? Little Boy's blast radius reached 2 miles...Besides, you can correct me that (There is NOT an extra "that") that much firepower is needed...Anyway, nice parts usage, a funny joke, and cool design gives this 4/5! |

Bone-head! HAHA!! Very nice. You called my last freelancer weapon wicked, but this baby is much more wicked than my weapon! This thing is bristling with weapons, you can hardly count them. Oh, was the big red-headed rocket intented to be between the legs, or did it get there just by accident? I´m surprised that Phipson didn´t pay further attantin to it! ;-P I´ve got anothe bad joke: This HAM needs some eggs! Ok, enough. Very good work, buddy! |

Hmmmm.....let's see, good build, funny commentary, using my head as a missle.....yeah, it all adds up to a .....5. Sweet job here, I do not look at the builder names before I judge, but as I read this one, I knew it was yours. HAHAHA. So to wrap up, 5 points for you. |
