Reintroduction. "Look, in the sky! It's a bird- no... It's a plane- yeah, we'll go with that."
-Marine, Halo 3
About this creation
"Aww... I wanted the Banshee!" -Elite, Halo 2
Okay, I, a major perfectionist, have seen way too many medicore Banshees on ThePages. This one (mine) is perfect in scale, awesome in playability, and amazingly asthetic.

Things you should know if you didn't see my pre-introduction Banshee:
1.Wings sloped
2.Cockpit opens and closes
3.Hood follows in-game curvature perfectly
5.There is never a number "4"
6.Jets/steering-thingys turn
7.Frontal guns pivot left, right, up, and down
8."Banshee Bomb" dropper pivots up and down

Now back to buisness. Opened views.

I love how the stud->brick<-stud interface worked out.

Proof that my Elite fits in perfectly. Look at his toes!

A little vig' of an ODST skyjacking this poor Elite.

RATE, DON'T HATE!

Hi Newt, I got bored a couple days ago and copied this Banshee, with 2 minor revisions. Use a 2x2 hinge piece to hold up the wing, and under it instead of that 1x2 plate use 2 blue cheese wedges. Best banshee ever! |

Really nicely done Banshee, the front so much better than mine. However, having the top "fin" thing only one single piece sort of takes the top away from curviness...just a critique. Thanks for commenting on mine!!! |

So very awesome. The detail is amazing. That you used LDD to design all of it is even more impressive, I've never been able to construct a detailed model in the program, I generally had to work it out physically and then get the colors right on LDD. So kudos to you! Is there any chance you can upload the files themselves?
Again, fantastic job!
Oh, come on. LDD isn't that hard to use! Yes, it can be annoying and painstaking, but it allows me to do so much because I lack the bricks. I will upload the models(eventually)and when I do I will give links on my home page. |
