This is a Gran from Episode VI. I will be using him in a vig/dio I am working on. Can you guess what it will be?
About this creation
This is also an entry for The First Official Purist Contest

I intend to customize the body with a Fine Clonier decal to make it movie accurate.

I also did the head in dark bluish gray, but the tan is more accurate.

20 points from me. 4 points for build quality, 3 points for originality, 5 points for theme adherence, 5 points for purism, 3 points for presentation. The biggest complaint is that there isn't enough of it there. The minifigure is exceptional but a vignette to display this guy in would have really helped your score. This is great work on the theme adherence, perfect score for that category. |

A great mini-fig... from the front looks like the real thing. Creative and clever use of different Lego pieces to achieve this look. |

He looks very good, but can you make a picture of the back.I'm wondering how you made it?
It's pretty easy. Take a 1x1 headlight and insert the "neck" of the minifig into the back with the top facing forward (The 2x2 round piece attaches there). Add a 1x2 on top of that with the "ear" pieces on top of that. The rest you can see in the pics. And there you go! Please feel free to make one for your collection, but please reference me if you use it in a MOC. Thanks. |

WOW- best purist gran i've seen- very creative- however i suggest that you change the shout to be stud or two instead of that cone it looks too long... but that only if you watch him from the side front looks excellent...
Thanks for the idea. I'm playing with a couple options. It may be that the eyes need a stud behind, as a Gran's eyes stick out a ways. |

Great idea for the eyes! Here's my guess: Jabba's Palace or the Great Pit of Carkoon? |

Thanks for being the first in! It will be in Jabba's Palace. The specific scene I'm doing is going to have a bunch of custom elements that will be very movie accurate. |
