E.A.F. Heracles
This is the first mech I have ever attempted, and I am really proud of what it turned out like. It is sorta like a hardsuit, but not quite. But then again, maybe it is...
About this creation

We will start off with a side view. Like I said, this is my first ever mech. I am really proud of this little creation of mine, although be no means "little". Although size can be relative... But, moving on!

Another view. I kinda copied Ribbits M's idea by using the white minifig hands, although I did not use them as AA guns. Mine are just there to give it a husky look.

A closeup of Keith and the crossbar that holds him in place; acting also as light armor. I wish I had a grey piece to replace that sand-colored piece, but you take what life gives you.

An action shot of it walking! I was really glad it was able to walk. I wish I had some ball-in-socket joints. I will definitely have to add it to the list of wanted bricks.

A pic showing the back of the mech. I designed a sort of basket that holds the turret and the huge power containment unit. You will find what it runs on later.

And here is the turret, which is mounted just above Keith's head. It gives him somewhat of a sense of security...

A shot of the detail on the legs and feet.

I'm in the in zone!!! Pass it!

Here is just a close up view of the "cockpit", although there is not much pit to it. You can barely see the pistol that can be used in emergencies. We always take in to consideration everything that could go wrong, except for the fact the pistol will fail. That is never taken into consideration. Why? Because people are lazy.

A closeup of the machine gun arm.

A closeup of the cannon arm.

Everybody, Keith has something to say.
Keith: This mech runs on a mixture of custom clones and potato chips. All thriving fuel sources. Wait, what have we here? A custom clone?

Put down your weapons, you don't stand a chance. Thank you.

Lets have a thoughtful discussio....Whoops, wrong button!

Great, now we have a bloody mess. And if there is anything I don't like, it's a mess.

Fortunately, I can fix this! *Boom*

Much better. Call in the crew.

Thank you, cleaner bot, thank you. Well, yea, that custom clone can made into fuel for this mech. You can see how well it works.
Me: Thanks, Keith, for the... great demonstration. 000, sorry for sorta copying your idea, but it popped into my head and then I looked at your weisel and went, "We both have the same minds!" At least I had the courage to sacrifice a perfectly good clone. =D

Whoa, Keith, it's just me. I would not want to see this if I were an enemy. Or a custom clone... Hey Keith! How do you deal with potato chips?
Keith: You eat them.
Me: Oh Emm Gee! No way! I didn't even think that was an option!
Keith: ...

Me: Here is a cool shot that I did while adjusting the shadows and highlights in picasa. A fine program if I might add.

He is coming, potato chips and custom clones beware...

Well, I hope you enjoyed my first mech. Feel free to rate and comment!

Quoting Leda Kat I really like this dude, he's chunky and I can imagine the sound he makes when he moves. I like his feet and how he almost looks like he could roll completely into a ball and hide from enemies as if he was a large boulder then unfold and attack!
Oh yes, the old boulder tactic. Very effective unless your adversary is much bigger and is a fan of bowling.

Not bad for a first! Very good, in fact! Where all 'cuztum clones' should be!

Quoting 000 000 It looks much better than what it used to look like... nice job ;) P.S. Did you have to use the same shadowing stuff on Picasa? Anyhow, the clone fuel stuff isn't mine... that's Matthew David's idea...
Yes, I did have to use the same stuff on picasa. =P And, in that case, Thank you Matthew David!

Quoting MOODSWIM (@) Very cool for a first mech! I would say maybe double the slope pieces on the feet (1 on either side) but that's just me. Anyway, this is how you spell Hercules:)
Thanks, and the one you spelled is the one I am most familiar with, but I have heard it spelled both ways. I think the greeks spelled it hercules and the romans spelled heracles. Thanks though.

Quoting GRAN TURISMO RACER I dont know much about Star Wars or spacy stuff. But even i can tell this is really cool!
It's not star wars, E.A.F. is just my made up corporation. Like for 000 it is EDI (Excalibur defense industries) and for me it is Elite assault force.

I still need to come up with a clono-degradable fueled moc. Nice mech here waff. I like the gun the Clone had, which was sadly roasted by your beast of a mech. Nice job!

I felt like it. It's weird...
