Kettenkrad was also used to Tow Aircraft to save fuel on the runways. It was used mainly in the Eastern Front but also in North Africa and has troop transport in Europe.The Kettenkrad came with a Special trailer to increase its Cargo ability. Kettenkrad could climb up inclines of 24 degrees and even more if the Driver had the courage. Width 3 1/2 Feet. Length 10 feet and Height 4 feet. It had a top speed of approximately 45 mph.
