My WOULD-BE entry to the BD Bionicle Combiners contest, until after a day of working, the larger of the two (Slow) deicided to be 2 inches taller than the size limit...
About this creation
Windslow the Brute is a fiendish beast. He can split into two smaller entities, Wind (smaller one) and Slow(big one).
His legs.
I don't even know why I took this picture, but here ya go. It's his side..
The back of him, you can see Wind attached on right there.
His massive sword.
His chest armor.
Seeing what a flash would be like...Well this is Windslow split into his two selves, Wind and Slow.
Wind's head.
Slow's head. Both of them have lower jaws that can open and close.
And this is his enormous sheild.
On his arm..
Well, this was quite an expeirience, I already posted this sotry in Bd, but here we go...
the day I read about the new "Combiners" contest, I printed out the rules and got to work straight away, I half destroyed Brutaka to get his gold pieces, then took out all my black Bionicles. I started working with those two colors right then, building and destroying models, hour after hour, trying to find a more creative kind of combiners. I tried making a large bird with each combiner as one half of it, I attempted at a strange centaur-like creature, and then a scorpion-like thing. Neither worked out correctly. I nearly made it with a strange, wonky creature with huge legs and small arms, but I just couldn't get a way to make it into two (or more) different beings. Design after design, over and over. I did have lunch in case you were wondering, but it was quick and I went right to work after. Finally, at 6:15 PM, I had Windslow the Brute in my hands, action-ready and...brutish. Then my dad reminded me about the size limit...I rushed to my mom's art desk and slashed through pens and pencils to find a ruler, I yanked it out and set Winslow at his full height, measured...And guess what? He had an unplanned growth spurt and had ended up 2 inches over the 10 inch size restriction.

Wow this could have been an excellent entry. Just by looking at the pictures, you can easily make a V2 of this and enter it. Chopping 2 inches on the main guy aint hard. Great moc, probably one of your best. |

Very cool :) When you post your real entry, please use the "large" pics format: it's a pain to enlarge them all to see it! |
