A simple, but well done design. Very nice. I actually like this one more than the V2. His V2 just seems so... empty. The backstory is very good too, although I don't think you should break the fourth wall in it.

Yeah, I but can't think of a good body design. Besides, this pic is actully a year old. O_O Yeah, I had him for that long. Ideas for his design are welcome though.
