FUTURON - Compilation - part 1
MOCpages is so slow, it really upset me. So I won't post a lot of thing, and will write less comments... until Sean fix the problem. Anyway, this is a new compilation, the theme is a tribute to FUTURON (an old space theme, released in 1987). Hope you'll like it :-) PS this is dedicated to the memory of nnenn. The community has lost a great builder. RIP nnenn and I hope you're now in a Lego paradise...

Nice work here. I really love the large robots and the way the small robots (at least I think they are robots) ride on the sides of some of the vehicles almost as if on a stretcher. The background effects are cool -- i can hardly tell it's your sofa ;) But the real reason I'm here is that it has been over three months since you posted a new MOC. Should I be worried?

Awesomesauce. Also, you seem to really love any ships that are yellow. I hate to advertise, but I think you'd like this little recruitment poster (sorta) I designed for a book I'm writing. http://www.flickr.com/photos/49103771@N05/4722229530/

Quoting Chris Phipson Sorry it took so long to get here... should I insert a joke about mocpages being slow? No, I'll leave that to the general audience. Crimso my friend, you've been steadily developing a style all your own for years now and even when you branch out for your usual color choices (trans-orange anyone?) your awesome builds STILL scream CRIMSO GIGER! Consider yourself an artist beyond reproach sir! Good show! ~ Chris.
... THANKS Chris, I'm so happy to have such a great comment ! Thanks everybody !

Right on spot, waiting about 15 mins just to watch a MOC and write a comment is too much... As usual with your compilations you hit me like a BIG truck, I'm totally floored. A brilliant display of your creative mind and clever mix of old and new parts to create something totally Crimso-ish. Looking forward to lay eyes on part II. Salut!

Love 890 and 930. There is a cohesive sense of style and design to the set, with a large variety of vehicle types too. You've captured the look and feel of the old sets, and the "fun factor" is there as well -- something much of the newer space stuff seems to lack if you go off the predetermined story path set by TLC. Go rest your hands for a day, then build more of these!

NG 960 and 940 are so sweet, great shapes and playability, they look great. They are all good, really neat details on most, as per usual. Hang in there buddy, we all hate the slowness...

Nice to see these all together. Favorites are 850 and 890. That little truck is cool. Be nice to see a large table top space port with some of these vehicles in place. That'll keep you busy, huh. see ya. garth
