NOTE THIS REFURB IS NOW COMPLETE, APPLIANCE NOW ON THE RUN AS A31, PHOTOS COMING SOON!
A near finished refurbishment on a 2005 Dennis Sabre XL with bodywork from John Dennis Guilford, this is one of many about to go on the run around the county.
This Appliance is an ex Legoshire spare pump ladder after serving at School Street Cliften.
as you can see, i am missing most of the pump panel and some parts of the rear lockers, these should be here very soon.
these are based very much on west midlands fire services fleet of sabres the black behind the Dennis logo (which yeas hasn't been added yet) and the white and red rear becon are fairly unique west mids features, sadly the first set of JDC and Excalibur sabres are slowly but surely going in favor of ugly volvos.
please ask any questions you have, one thing though please don't knock of these rigs, i will soon have quite a few and it will be very obvious.

Beautifully done. There is not enough british appliances on this site. Very refreshing to see. This looks very realistic.
thank you very much, the finished product is also in this folder, with all its correct markings, many others are coming soon, including more Dennis/JDCs, some Scannia/EM-ONE, and a Volvo/JDC.
i really enjoyed looking at your work as well, particually the old british rail models.
i have sadly seen a new WMFS volvo, which made me a bit ill, when i move to 2010 appliances i'm moving down the scannia/emergency one route, thats when i've made a good few more of these.

Nice motor James! I've always been a fan of Dennis appliances, I've driven & ridden several! I was very sad to hear that they're not building anymore & you are right about ugly Volvo's!!
