UCS koro-2 airspeeder (Zam Wessel's speeder)
UCS koro-2 airspeeder.
About this creation
See my story about the yellow hotrod. That applies here. This one is to scale with my yellow hotrod, but not in "classic" UCS scale. Only one image in this gallery shows off the lamborhini-style doors--that was a later addition to this model. I wanted to put that compartment in there where Zam Wessel keeps her rifle-thingy, but it was just too much figuring-out for one model.

This model is no longer in existence, but I did manage to successfully put together an LDraw file. I may have deleted the file, but feel free to ask for it if you want it that much.

Here you can see how my attention span began to wane at the halfway point. The front half of the model is almost spot-on, but the shape begins to break up toward the back.

I like my use of 1x1 round plates for those vanes on the back.

This profile captures the shape rather well.

Here you can see those luminescent wedge-things that kind of look like mandibles. Mine don't light up.

The koro-2 was definitely not made in England. The driver's side is on the left.

With one of the doors detached, the interior is more visible. This is the passenger side. Do you see where the droid lives?

This little droid is pretty much to scale with the airspeeder. What a tiny thing. It must be powerful, though, if it can support Ewan McGregor's weight and continue to fly through Coruscant.

As always, I prefer to detail the bottom of my models.

   Lamborghini-style doors. Check it.
