This is a 1936 Leyland FT1 Pump Escape, as used by the Brickingham County Borough Fire Brigade in c1954. She is powered by a straight 6, 8.4 litre, 115bhp petrol engine. She is equipped with a Gwynne 1000gpm rear mounted pump and will also carry a Bayley 50' Wheeled Escape Ladder as well as a variety of other equipment and a full crew of 6. I am in need of plenty of parts, so if anyone knows where to get plenty of 1x1x3 & 1x1x3 red doors plus other bits, I'd like to know!!

Hi rik, how's it going?. I've finally updated and finished the scania arp pump with ladder which I had trouble with (James helped me on this) works well and looks good.

Yes that would be great, thanks Calvin! Give me your details & we'll try to come to an arrangement! Not only do I need doors, I also need plenty on misc. red parts, but more of the same size wheel & tyre assy too!! I've also in the process of building a Leyland/Metz TL, a Dennis F12 PE & a Bedford HU with plans to also build a Dennis F12 ET & a Fordson 7V WrT!!

Thanks James, it is still in the development stage so I may well do some pruning!! I have another 3 in build, more to follow soon!! What I need is a "one stop shop" where I can get all my parts at once. For example, I require at least 12 pairs of 1x1x3 red doors!!

its great to see retro british rigs appearing here, oldest i go is 88 lol. its very detailed but does look slighty boxy. i love the uniforms thou, the helmets are fantastic, i have great trouble painting rank markings on mine. for your 1x3x1 doors, try lego pick a brick, or bricklink. personally i go for bricklink these days cos of legos prices but.
