The Capture of the Necromancer
The brave Dragon Masters attempt to capture the evil Necromancer.
About this creation
These daring Dragon Masters travel deep into the desolate wastelands surrounding Fire Mountain as they search for the Necromancer, to gain the 1000 gold piece bounty placed on the evil mage by the mighty Duke of the Grey Isles. After days of searching, the band of hunters run across him in a small ravine, and find that he is well prepared, and not to be taken lightly. Instantly, the deranged sorcerer conjures up 3 skeletal warriors to aid him! The brave soldiers parry the dead warriors' attacks, however, and their bold knight forces his way towards the Necromancer himself. The powerful wizard flings a blast of lightning at the knight, who barely manages to duck out of the way. Not likely to miss a second time, the Necromancer hurls his stream of lightning at the gallant knight again! The nobleman throws his shield in front of him, and the lavender fire is averted!

Production notes:
This was really more another study in landscaping than anything else. I just wanted to build a volcanic scene. I built the entire landscape first, then figured out with what to populate it. The volcanic nature of the terrain doesn't condone a peaceful scene, as did my forest landscapes, so I went for something a bit more violent and fantastic.

A great landscape with a good sense of depth, also the trees work well. It could do with more lava to create more drama.

Hey! You gotta mocpage! It's me,Viper. As I said, great scenerio. You should make another, but of the battle earlier on, when the knights first arrive, and you could have the sorceror be summoning skeletons from flame pilars, by using your same lightening technique, and twisting it around and around. I really like how you landscaped it. the grey tree in interesting how you did the branch using hinges. Great moc.
