Silent defender of King's Wall mountains. Based on TEKNOMEKA instructions.
About this creation
"Chong Tian (Rising Force) is defender of the mysterious valleys of King's Wall mountains. This mystical 'lord of the air' is god from tales of the local people, who appears as a huge shadow for those who dare to enter his kingdom."
COO: Story of Chong Tian started few years ago when I decided to venture in to larger scale buildings. I had just recently builded one large TECHNIC creation (Aebi TT75, sadly not documented here) and thought to go back to my "main theme", mecha. I wanted to try to build something larger and eventually made few "skeletons", frames with joints added. They weren't successful and I quickly parted them out.
Fast forward to last December when I was watching at one skeleton that I had recently built. After testing it out, I got frustrated and decided that if I ever would build new skeleton, I would buy Brian Cooper's TEKNOMEKA instructions, the "holy grail" of mecha builders. The time to buy the instructions came when our LUG, Palikkatakomo, chose to participate largest miniature model exhibition scandinavic countries, Model Expo. I wanted to suprise my fellow builders by making something big. After thinking of the big project, it was down to large SHIP or big mecha and after consulating with good friend of my, I chose to build a TEKNOMEKA based mecha...
Like the original TEKNOMEKA models, Chong Tian has 21 joints (not counting hands which are of my own design) of which 20 are worm gear controlled. Majority of joints are same as the instructions showed but quite many of them are stiffened by using epaulettes.

great design in overall. any estimate in piece count.
The TEKNOMEKA instruction books had it's own "armor" design and that whole mecha had about 3400 bricks. I am guessing that Chong Tian has more close to 4000 bricks in it.
