Oh my comment sounds really weird, now that I uploaded a sculptural MOC myself, that I had lying around for quite some time :D To be honest, I don't know how to make a ball or curves out of 2x4 bricks like you do. I wouldn't have thought about breaking it up into smaller shapes, thanks for the advice! I really want to try a sculpture with basic bricks only one day. But I guess I'll have to look at a lot of others before, to really understand it. :)

The easiest way to build a sculpture is to look at what you are building and break it down into easy shapes ie. squares, spheres and anything else you see. then put these together, add some details and hey presto. Odie's head was basically made up of two spheres. have a go you've nothing to loose.

I remember that I looked at this before, probably MOCpages was slow again, so I didn't rate it, but I really like it. I always wanted to try out sculptural MOCs for myself, for some variety, but I don't really know where to start with such builds. I guess it takes a lot of pre-planning with brick-paper?
