Three in one. I finally made a real model - that's one thing. It's in new scale for me - that's second. And I made step-by-step instructions. Check it out: http://www.bricklink.com/store.asp?p=Rolic&itemID=17142171
About this creation
Here it is, my latest creation. And it's finally made out of real bricks. That's something that all of you been expecting and waiting from me. But there is more - I made a step-by-step instructions - available at my newly made Bricklink store. So go and check it out:
http://www.bricklink.com/store.asp?p=Rolic&itemID=17142171
It took me about a month to build a car, but it took about the same to produce the instruction. Let's see. If all will go well, then I'll continue producing them. And of course more models are coming. Already have some ideas what to build next. I wont give any tips of that, I can only promise you, that it will be something new - never (or at least rarely) seen on MocPages. As a meter of fact, I couldn't find any Nissan Navara made out of LEGO, so I guess - this is the first one.
As it is in smaller scale, there are less working features than my digital models had. But that doesn't mean, that I had less fun while building it. Still I tried out some of my new invented techniques for doors to open. I thing this is the first this scale model with suspension (I demolished my 6.5 technick suspensions). It is really stiff which kind of surprises me - but that's the good thing, isn't it?
Ok... let's see some pics.
Everything that should still ones, despite the small scale to me :) :p
Interior...
Real suspensions...
Hope you like it. Constructive feedback appreciated as always. Any new ideas or some suggestions... welcome. See you again in few months - same place, same time :D

Wow that truck looks like the real deal, its so bad-ass, if you still have it built, you should considering swapping out the engine for the one inside the Nissan GT-R, oh boy that would be something else :D |

This is simply stunning, being pretty bad at making life-like cars, I'm incredibly impressed! I think the rim of the wheel...spaces...could have been a little smoother, but you mastered the windows, fantastic job! |

Is this truck what they refer to as a Nissan Frontier in the USA? It looks very similar to one in my book. Please let me know the answer and, by the way, it is a good MOC, too.
Looked up in Wikipedia.com Seems that it is the same... |

You should be a car designer in real life. First you design the car digital and then translate it in real Lego bricks. Just like in real life. amazing what you are making at this scale. I am very impressed. |

Awesome work! This is very realistic and reminds me a lot of Firas' works. Love how you made the "wheel cave" thingies expand from the chassis!

Very cool.Never seen a Navara before built with bricks. You did an excellent job at the front.Hope to see more real vehicles from you soon.
Yea - me too, that's why I built it. And I already started a new model. If you've never seen Navara built with bricks, than I'm pritty sure that you've never heard of my next model at all (the real car, I mean).

Great model! I can see the huge effort that you put in this build, everything seems good for me but I think you should use a little bit bigger wheels for this monster. Still a great MOC though.. keep it up my friend. |
