HMDK-002 Armax Crusader Class "Whiplash"
The HMDK-002 Armax Crusader Class "Whiplash" is the new Dark Crusader Knight specially employed to fight Dark Augusto armies. Like it predecessor, the Whiplash is a gunman, but this time armed with the most advanced energy weapons ever seen: The Supernova Whips
About this creation
"Whiplash" was developed to fight the Dark Augusto units alongside the "Deathbringers". The HMDK-002 was designed to take care of as many targets as it whips can reach, causing a breakthrough in enemy defenses.

The cockpit. The previous model featured a similar cockpit but with down opening. This one opens up. It's more comfortable for the pilot to enter and exit the mech.

The Supernova Whips. The energy flows through flexible superconductors causing it to emanate heat and energy. The whips can cut DA armor plating as a hot knife in butter.

The old reliable Malleus pistols, already used by the Deathbringers.

The thrusters and wings. These thrusters are used for charging, jumping or brake. The wings give it aerodynamic stability.

The fuel cells containment and closeup of the thrusters.

Wings folded...

And in attack pose. The Whiplash uses the very same Valkyrie missiles that AST-002 Mjolnir fighters uses. These missiles uses nano-technology that prevents Dark Augustos's shields regeneration, acting like a "virus". The Valkyries were specially developed to fight Mysterions, but proved to be worthwhile against Dark Augusto units.

The Victory pose!

This is very cool! I like the idea of using Whiplash from Iron Man's weapons applied to a mech! Five stars!

That explains it. Exo-Force came and went back when I too busy dealing with college, my career and all that mind-munbiing adult stuff. In those days long, long ago in a galaxy far, far (sorry, ignore that, wrong universe). Anyway those were the days when my LEGO was all packed away waiting for my return. In other words, I never got any of those sets and now its too late. Oh well, $&!# happens!

Quoting Mike Johnson This one reminds me of an old cartoon called "Exo-Squad." I especially admire the body style and the boosters. Even the minifig was a perfect match for this mech. By the way are those custom decals on the fig or is it from set that I don't recognize?
Glad you like it! The pilot is Hikaru from 8103 Sky Guardian.

Quoting Commander Luiz Camargo The DA must sweat a little now to invade Earth, huh? Thank you Keith for commenting! I believe MAS would be a though opponent even with these whips. :
After taking one good look at those whips, I don't think *anybody* is going to try invading the Earth anytime soon. Also, MAS units are only tough because they have the almighty G-Shock Hammer. Without that, they'd be toast against the Whiplash (and probably a lot of other mechs at that). Buuuuut, if you really want to know the answer to a "who'd win in a fight between..." scenario, I've been working on a script that algorithmically generates "RPG" battle stats (attack, defense, etc) using physical characteristics of LEGO mech models and then simulates a turn-based battle between the two models until one wins. Quoting Keith Johansen Great color scheme and the whips are epic win! I would definitely not want to face one of these in battle. Not even a MAS's armor could hold against those whips. Another fine MOC, Luiz :)
