The film is also a loosely-based book adaptation.

Nicely done! That's a fun movie to be sure. I was actually just designing Hicup for the heck of it, and I used the same shoulder-pad technique (not having seen yours yet). Funny. Nice job on Toothless too! |

This critter is well-proportioned for minifigure scale, and its habitat looks wonderful. Well done.

I must thank you for such amazing inspiration. I have admired your Nightfury from the first time I saw it. Now that I am on moc pages, I can thank you properly. The build is incredible. The dragon is breath taking. The entire httyd line is unbelievably cool. I have added a few new dragons recently, so if you get the chance you could let me know what you think. I think I would fall out of my chair if I came on one day and found myself as one of your favorite builders (don't go and make me one just because I said that though). You are the Hiccup Horrendous Haddock III of lego dragons, and that is saying something! |

great moc, very accurate toothless, (and the red tail wing is good, because at the end, he gets a new one in that coler) i also like your hicup, he's just as accurate as all your figs and dragons, perfectly done. |

Sweet mama! I finally got clued in and realized I should look at all these more systematically. Not only is Toothless perfect, but the whole quarry. This is really two award winning MOCs in one. |

This is even better than my dragon you commented on! I love the level of detail on this moc, and if I had the right colour pieces, I would've altered my dragon design and changed it to Toothless! 3565643354656754/5! |

It's very like that from the movie and your V2 is even better, the eyes could be brighter (maybe taking off those black round studs should fix that :D). I loved the movie, and by the way how did you make the music here o.O? |

Loved the film. Love the MOC. Toothless does indeed look like he was difficult to make. Kudos for pulling it off in minifig scale. And yeah, the harness is pretty sweet. |

I loved the books, so when the movie came out I was excited. You did a great job on Toothless. Looks like he did in the movie, but the book is WAY different in some parts, but I won't let that take away form how you did. Really good job. |
