Great Pets Inc.
An entry for "The Mob Rules" contest by Shannon Young. Group D, Category, "We'll Make Great Pets"
About this creation
Introduction

Welcome to Great Pets Inc. where are slogan is, "We'll Make Great Pets!". Today we have a treat in store for you because today the factory is making cats! We'll start off with an overview!

Overview

Outside

Ok, first we have the main entrance to the factory. We see a door, three windows, a stop sign, a sidewalk, and bricks jutting out of the brick building.

Here is the stop sign.

Here is Josh, who is a grumpy engineer today because he is late for work.

Now we have the left side of the factory. Two windows, two trucks, and the company sign.

The first word in the company sign. It reads "Great."

The second word in the company sign. It reads "Pets."

As you can obviously see, it reads "Great Pets."

Vehicles

Both vehicles. I had to throw them together real fast. ;)

Here we have the tanker truck that takes the raw material to the factory to be turned into pets.

Here we have the pick up truck that carries the finished products to and fro.

The two vehicles' import/export windows.

Billy Joe Bob, the redneck truck driver.

and Donny Davis, the cowboy truck driver.

Inside

Here is the inside of the factory. We will now explain the process how our products are made. Remember, today we are making cats.

First, our shoveler, Mike, shovels raw material (ABS) that is shot out of the back of Billy Joe Bob's Tanker Truck

and carries it on to our first conveyor belt.

The conveyor belt the moves it into the first machine, the painter-X 3000 (pictured on the right) which colors the raw material into our desired color. Today is white of course.

Once the large chunks are colored, they continue on down the conveyor belt to the next machine. This one is the Baker-O-Matic-X 3001 which forms our small pieces into large blocks.

Then, our two "runners", Shane and Caleb,

pick up the big bricks and carry them between the first conveyor belt and the second.

while Caleb pushes his on the second conveyor belt.

Here we see worker, Shane, getting ready to pick up another brick

Once the bricks are put on the second conveyor belt, they pass through the third and final machine, the Slice-and-Dice-Q-3002, which chops, grinds, smashes, breaks, demolishes, chisels, and forms the bricks to become the cat and/or finished product.

Then, the finished product arrives at packaging, operated by our best employee, Shannon. He grabs the products,

Shoves them in,

grabs a lid,

and then snaps it in place.

He picks up the heavy box, and shoves it out the window to Donny Davis' pick-up.

Worker Mike yells, "You rock, Shannon!"

Shannon replies saying, "Yeah tell me something I don't know!" and then thinks "Woah, Dj vu!"

Other Things Inside

A rack of tools by Shane and Caleb for repair work.

Behind the Slice-and-Dice-Q-3002 operated by Engineer Kevin.

The other side of the Slice-and-Dice-Q-3002 between conveyor belt 1 and 2.

Top of the Slice-and-Dice-Q-3002.

The foreman, Gary, monitoring everything going on.

Gary assures you, "Don't worry, We'll make great pets!"

"Thanks for stopping by! Come again soon, and enjoy your great pets!"

Notes:

Hey guys, first off I just want to apologize about the crummy photos. I've been working on this for 3 days straight (kinda) and I'm really close to the deadline to have it be posted so I had to rush with photos. Only the beginning ones look bad though. Ones inside the factory look pretty good. But anyway, yeah...

Nothing else right now, if you want more notes, go look at my "Assassination on Generis."

If you would like to, please comment, rate, add me as your favorite builder, or check out my other creations. Constructive criticism is always welcome!

Thanks,
~Casey~

Nicely done! I wonder just how "realistic" those cats would be.

Haha! Not your typical "Birds and Bees" way of getting cats, but who knows how they really get that annoying... Great job, good luck! Keep it going -Ultra.

I didn't knew that I am a grumpy engineer ;). Great Moc and funny idea, as well as high quality kitties.

Good stuff with the colorful sign outside and the factory floor inside. Years ago I actually worked (for all of one day) at the conveyor belt on a production line, putting little cans of blueberries into boxes of muffin mix as they went by. (I know, seems like that should have been automated. Old equipment at the factory.) Let me tell you, it was miserable, noisy, monotonous work. I suppose packing fluffy white kittens is a step up.
