About this creation
When I saw the new trans-blue axes from the new Space Police Central, I thought they'd match well with the 3L bar from the collectible astronaut minifig. So I made an ice axe and a minifig to go with it. And from there I built this sea serpent - it is white and trans-clear, so as to blend in with its surroundings. This was a relatively quick build, technically only built to showcase the axe. Because of the nature of the MOC [its color and its short build time], I thought I'd experiment with blacklight. It turned out to be near-impossible to photograph well, so these were the best shots I could salvage from a huge set of candidates. In the end, I can't help but be reminded of the shipwreck scene from Selick's "James and the Giant Peach" film adaptation.

Nice battle axe!!! Isn't that what the model was really about anyway. But AMAZING sea monster!!! You once again show your amazing skill in every area of Lego. |

That dragon is probably the coolest thing I have seen in a very long time. The whole creation is also very cool. Nice. |

WOW! How do you get all those weird pieces? Anyways, I really like the serpent. For some reason, now I can picture an "Ice Vikings" theme. You should start it :P |
