you guys are so lucky!
i can only dream of going to see you guys!
i live in quebec and thats quite far!
here, there s only small lego showings!
like in a small hotel,
about 10 creations,tops!
divided in different categories,so i m glad
to at least had found this site!
like you i come back from the dark ages,
[i like that pun a lot!]
and i m quite passionate about it,
and takes quite a lot in my mind in
the months before.
any of you guys use educational kits ?
i find them quite handy and inspirational!
good luck to all you lucky guys !
hope you all have the best of times[for me]
i really appreciate your creations-pictures,
as they are quite simply the best!
Well, howww--deee, pardner! This here Bricky-World competition will be the root'n toot'nest yore old Aussie eyes ever did see! There'll be jawbonin' 'round the campfire and more than enough action to whet yer whistle for some Lego.
Jus you watchyer manners 'round the ladies or Sheriff Kelso and Deputy Fife, errr, Phipson, will make ya dance to the tune of hot lead! (Of course, the deputy only has the one bullet.)
Can't wait to see this MOC in person! You'll have a good time in Chicago -- see ya there!
That's so cool! It's also pretty neat to see your creations without any photoshopping done to them. I WOULD be going (for the first time in my life) but I couldn't afford the trip, I live further Northeast in the US. Well, for those going, have a great experience!
DUDE! I didn't know Brickworld was a contest like the Olympics!... oh wait, that was what you meant by the truth getting in the way of a story... got it. (hehehe) Can't wait to meet up with ya in person! It's going to be 4 days you won't soon forget (or rather remember... depending on how well it goes)! Congrats on the newspaper article! Always good to see builders getting the recognition they deserve! ~ Chris.
