About this creation
While talking to Jordan Schwartz at the Brick Magic event I expressed my wish to resurect the Exo-Force line one day, he wanted to to bring back Fabuland. He then suggested maybe bringing them both back as one theme - and thus Fabu-Force was born. (Exo-land being a silly name...)
He can try and blame me if he wants, but this is at least 55% his fault - and he built his mecha first: Sir Nadroj's Flickr !
Now who's going to volunteer to build Lisa Lambs Battle-Fleece? Mortimer Mouse's Mangler?
HAHAHAHA! This is epic! Run Ryo!
Also, I just read that you designed Dark Panther, which I think is awesome. How did you become a Lego employee? There is nothing I want more than to be a Lego set designer :D
Thanks for all the nice reviews guys!
For those who don't know Fabuland was a pre-school/post Duplo LEGO line made from 1979 to 1989 - the figures are surprisingly easy to pick up at second hand sales (car boots, yard sales whatever - at least in Europe) but not always in great condition, most where played with a lot! Exo-Force was a 7+ mini-figure action line made from 2006 to 2008.
I feel sorry for the Exo Force wannabe. As a fellow lover of the now defunct Exo Force theme, I too would like to see it revived. This is a very well made battle machine, and I love the over all look of it.
Friggin' hilarious! Nothing's better that seeing an Exo-farce wannabe hero getting spanked by a monkey in his own customized battle mech. No seriously, if the LEGO Corp. had the brass-cahones to put these on the market, I'd buy them in a heartbeat! I think a lot of others would too.
Terrific! And I nominate Dave Sterling to build Percy Pig's Perilous Piledriver! Stacy Sterling is nominated to build Barney Bear's Claw of Doom (couldn't come up with something alliterative that I liked).
