Okay while watching gundam Wing, I became more and more anxious to build a Gundam. Not sure exactly how I chose this on, I think it had something to do with color. Anyways, this is my first ever Mech, the joints are fully functional and it has a cockpit which seats up to 2 lego minifig's (with helmets). The wings are going to be the hardest part, and the spike on the feet looks difficult, but I'll see what I can do. And if you were wondering about the bionicle, its just something I threw together for size comparison, he is the matoran of storms. The Gundam's eyes are made of the green part of a cut out x box live membership card, if your purist whatever, it ain't cho thang, I respect that, just don't downgrade for it. /the hip armor moves as well.
PLEASE,RATE AND COMMENT, It's the only way to get me to improve this to the way others want it, thanks.
Right off the top--the thing that could improve the most about this is that including a full body picture would be great. The gundam itself is looking great (I could have told which one it was, even without the title--thats always a good thing). One thing that I noticed is that this one has exo-force joints for the knees, but it is rather tall. Do you find that it has trouble standing on its own? I built a similar mech frame: http://www.mocpages.com/moc.php/144429. But I found that beyond a certain height and weight, the knees kept collapsing. Thats when I moved to a more sturdy frame: http://www.mocpages.com/moc.php/145503. But not everyone has the right parts to make this one. Another good alternative for sturdy knees is to use this sort of a frame: http://www.mocpages.com/moc.php/146670. One more thing that I would really like to see: the scythe. The Deathscythe H really needs its scythe. Keep up the great work man. I'll look forward to seeing it!
