Yes, I finally finished my big project! It took me nearly two weeks, every work day I built a few hours and every weekend was pretty much non-stop building. So here is my diorama-tower of Greek mythology times, consisting of Mount Olympus(complete with Athena and Zeus), earth(with two soldiers and two titans), Poseidon's Realm(with Poseidon himself), and Hades' Lair, (complete with Persephone and Hades).
About this creation

This is the whole thing.....Sideways...Yes, yes, I've been looking and looking all around Picasa 3 (my photo program thing) and I can not find something that will keep the picture upright when I upload it onto this page! So you'll have to made do with breaking your neck trying to look at this sideways.

May I present to you: Zeus, the God of the Heavens!

Poseidon, the God of the Seas!

And the dreaded Hades, God of the Underworld.

Here is Zeus' domain, Mount Olympus, I would gladly have added a whole castle, but I just didn't have enough space.

A out-of-focus bridge of clouds, I had my camera set to macro so I dunno what went wrong.

This is Athena, Goddess of Wisdom. Thanks all you guys for correcting me, even if my dignity is in shambles right now. :D

This is the Earth. No particular god rules over this section, that's why the titans are roaming freely about.

A small jagged mountain with a cave.

This is Thog, a dumb, mangy-haired titan who's purpose is nil, only being driven on by anger and hatred towards the reckless human kind. I seemed to have forgotten to tell you, titans and gods are a little over six times the height of and ordinary man.

Two soldiers about to be crushed into paste with a careless footfall of a titan.

The two soldiers close-up.

Poseidon welcomes you to his kingdom. Feel free to look around.

On the left side is a school of white and yellow Slimefin sucking algae off of a towering plant, and you can also spot the gray shark waiting to eat them up.

On the right side you can see mostly the lustrous gardens of vibrant coral and sea plants.

This is Poseidon's little cove, carved from the rock.

Without him in it, you can see a strange dotted, multicolored doorway in the back. That is the portal to Mount Olympus, every God has one in his domain in case there is an unexpected call to a meeting.

Yeah, you're gonna have to turn your head sideways again. If anybody has tips on how to turn pictures the right way, I beg of you to help me. On the other hand. this is Hades' lair. Most likely my favorite of the four sections. Oh, I didn't get any pictures of this, but the tower splits up into each section.

The Cliffs of Catastrophe, this is where Hades throws his victim's souls away to burn in the bubbling, searing magma. Trust me, these pictures do NOT do justice to this piece. I was rather disappointed when I saw how the colors had virtually been sucked out. Everything this see here is bland compared to what the real model looks like.

Another shot of the cliffs.

Hades staring mercilessly from his plateau.

This is without Hades.

One of my favorite parts of his little home (I use the term loosely, of course)

This is Hades' portal to Mount Olympus, remember how I said every god has one?

Poor, poor Persephone...Stuck in Hell against her will..

You get to turn your head sideways again! Except this time it's the other way!

Feelin' the burn yet?

This is my custom made buckler shield that one of the soldiers was holding.

And here's the entire crew. That guy with the hammer is NOT Thor.
Well thanks for sticking with me, I know it's been a long presentation. This piece was extremely fun to build, and I paid attention to as much detail as possible, even if you didn't get to see it all. I'm still working on my new Bionicle/technic _ _ _ _ _ _.

Very, very awesome! Only one correction(correct me if I'm wrong lol)- Hades was banned from Olympus, therefore, he would not have a portal. Otherwise, flawless build. 5/5. |

Wow this is great, nice job. But Persephone, being goddess of flowers, should be more colorful... The river Styx is also a kind of metallic black color. I love Zeus's Lighting bolt I would of never thought of that. Awesome. |

I LLLLLove it. Btw, is that guy with the hammer Thor? :D
You seem rather good at this MOC, gods seem to go well for you, kinda reminds me of my set of 13 gods of a religion i made (number 13 is astrologically perfect for the set of main gods, but to many more the number 12 might seem closer).
I liked the realm of hades, especially the part over the gateway! |

Out of curiosity, were you inspired to build this by watching "Percy Jackson and the Olympians: The Lightning Thief"? I have a feeling you were because of how well-built this is! ~Ryan
Actually, this tower began as ONLY the "earth" part of it, and that part was actually just going to be used as a little diorama for my newest transform-a-tank model. Well, you know me, I added some titans in, something clicked in my brain, which immediately got me going. I started to think about the mythical possibilities, I added Zeus, then Poseidon, and then Hades. Some ideas came from "The Lightning Thief", but it was mostly inspired by "The Clash of the Titans". |

awesome work! it looks pretty stable when together, at least i hope it is so it doesnt fall and ruin since its a great piece. i didnt get the earth layer too much since i didnt see much of it in the pictures, but i agree that the underworld looks the best out of all! great job on all, hope to see more soon. |
