While I'm a steadfast yellow-skinned Lego user, I'll just assume that they tragically have realistic skin tones due to radioactive fallout.
Good build. I especially liked the walls of the hut. |

Yeah, um, I have no idea what that is. It was just a Hawk Nelson reference. |

I've said this before and I'll say it again. Rubbled buildings may SEEM easy to do, but they're not. It takes real skill to make 'em look good. Nice work! ~ Chris. |

Not your usual style to build a MOC which is full of studs :0 But believe me, this turned out very well with you, great work. |

Awww man. I was really hoping to meet you. Well the build is a BW exclusive, but I will post it for all to see upon my return....sometime around the 23rd.
Yeah, I would kill to meet all you easterners too. Ah well, maybe next year. In the mean time, I'll wait anxiously for that post!

Let's see...constructive criticism...give it up. How's that?

Wow. That wrecked building is quite an amazing sight. The curved edges give it an awesome feel! I'll not complain about the peach-ness of the figs, but I did notice your original 'Apoc-o-chick' was yellow... She must have caught the same Vampire-skin-tone disease her visitors have... ;) |

It's a surprise BW MOC, any chance of you showing up?
As much as I would love to go to BrickWorld, I'm stuck here in rainy Washington for the next few months. *sigh* BrickCon better be good this fall.

The whole scene looks great and that telephone/electric pole adds a nice element. I wonder if anyone else caught the Hawk Nelson reference in the intro?
And in response to Yuri's comment - I don't think that constructive criticism means that you have to improve an existing creation, but rather helps you to know what you can improve on future creations if you try something similar. |

Well, LEGOwise, costructive criticism can only help to a point... for example, I could argue that I don't fully get the shape of the yellow line on the road, but what good would it do to you? Now, if I had a suggestion to improve your overall techniques, it may well worth mentioning, but I doubt anyone would remake a previous MOC just for a few small details. I like to concentrate on the things I like, and say "Cool stuff, man!" And it is :) |

OMG dude that road is not smooth enough! Those weapons are definitely NOT LEGO, and those minifig colors are peach colored!! How dare you!! All kidding aside, I love it JD! I like how you only built the front of the house and created a forced perspective. I need to think about that more often with my creations. Speaking of which I have a surprise for you that I built. It's a surprise BW MOC, any chance of you showing up? |
