Armed with a 75 mm main cannon and 2-3 mg 34's, the Panzer IV was Germany's formidable main battle tank throughout WWII. First introduced in 1939, this tank spearheaded the blitzkrieg across Europe, where few tanks could match it's power and speed. Throughout the rest of the war, this tank was constantly upgraded and modified to match the enemy, and remained a front line fighter to the war's bitter end. This particular tank is an Ausf. F model, introduced in 1942. Special thanks goes (as usual) to Matt and Alex, for the uniform and camouflage patterns for the troops. The rest I made myself!
Sorry about the date in the corner! My camera got reset!

That is really quite good and accurate to the real tank. The turrent could be wider and maybe a bit longer, but I must say I really like the build! |

Awesome work on the treads! I've tried making tanks before, but I've never been able to get the treads right so that they aren't droopy. Really nice work, is there an interior?
Unfortunately not. I couldn't find good shots of an interior to base mine off of,and there wasn't enough room for people in it anyway. But thanks for commenting! |

This is your first attempt at a tank?!? I don't believe it! This is great! The only detail I can find is the turret appears a little small, but thats it, amazing, very high quality! Outstanding work! =) |

It is good, and you've done the shape of the body perfect! Very well done! But I do have two suggestions- 1) the main turret looks a little out of proportion to the body. Maybe make the turret bigger. 2) You should try to use one colour, like 'bley' or light grey. But apart from that, it's a very good attempt for your first tank! I noticed this earlier today while posting my Panzer IV, so if you need any ideas or help, don't hesitate to look at mine!
Thanks, I really sprung for realism on this one. The turret could be a little bigger, but I was pretty much down to my last gray pieces pieces when I made this. |
