Quoting David Alexander Smith Nice alternative use for those classic space windshields.
I've got a bunch of them, so might as well put them to use, right? Thanks!

Quoting Brickscape _ Very nice! I've tried many times to make a mini version of Colonial One and never quite got it right. Yours is spot on. Great work! So say we all!
Thanks! There are some others that are probably more accurate and detailed, but I wanted one as small as possible to go with the Galactica. Here's another one: http://www.brickshelf.com/cgi-bin/gallery.cgi?i=3755537 And 2X4's the best I think: http://www.brickshelf.com/cgi-bin/gallery.cgi?i=4044760

Quoting cyberfrank 2010 it s so cool! love the base set design! the yellow windows! reminds me of star trek tng!
Thanks, yes, pretty much classic space going on there, that's what I have a lot of. I took the pictures at dusk and toned them down even more on the computer.

Quoting Lee Hardwick great little moc. I love the fact that your micro ship has some where stop. I might try one myself.
Thanks. Yes, it's good to have a nice parking area, fill up, grab some chips and a soda...

Quoting Histo Sci Once again, you've got it down. One of my favorite ships from the show, and you've done it with deceptive simplicity in microscale. The city is a tad brightly colored (or am I just remembering this scene wrong?) but I love Colonial One. Any chance we'll get to see more microscale BSG? Astral Queen? Cloud 9?
Just toned things down a bit. It's closer to the shot on Battlestar Wiki, from which I've been finding my 'inspiration'. This ship is downsized from 2X4's quite a bit. I figured it's closer to the Galactica, although it doesn't quite fit in the hangar bay. Anyway, thanks for checking out my MOCs!

Quoting Master Shifu Leo J Very nice backdrop(?) for the ship. I gotta try making one. I've built enough micro ships but no place to dock.
Thanks for the comment. Backdrop is probably more accurate than diorama. It's important to have a good place to dock one's ship.

Thanks! You're right about the brightness, I'll tone them down tonight. Not sure what's next, but I'm thinking!
