well after 7 1/2 hours of a sore back here it is my first MOC-up of a '32 ford 2 door. props go to members of the rod club for the inspiration...you know who you are guys.
with front end suspension proper steering fake colum shift gears suicide doors and opening boot.
i had a sore back before i even started but i had to build it then and there.
unfortunatly i just couldn't get the engine to link to the back wheels so there's a gear just on the dash to turn it over...please feel free to give me some ideas to fix this. hope the boys in the rod club approve.
Greate rod! It's out of question - you're in that rod-club! Wow - you say this is your first MOC! I'd say you've been building for a while. Really greate model and so detailed!!
This is a great start. If you wanted to run a propshaft to the back wheels, you'd need to make room for it - this MOC's flat, low floor seems to prevent it. You'd probably lose some boot space to accommodate the diff, too... Some builders prefer to stay as faithful to the actual vehicle's interior dimensions and their cars look great as a result but if you want lots of juicy technic features you may have to compromise this.. it just depends what style you want to build. Keep building!
Welcome to MOCpages Matt : ) a nice first upload! I really like the engine and opening features, not enough MOCs have them. I think a different colour interior would be an improvement as it makes it easier to pick out the details and the looks aren't quite as good as the technical features, but overall this is a very good first effort. 7/10 and looking forward to your next version! P.S. Your Rod Club invite is in your inbox : )
almost forgot to mention it has a rear seat as well and both seats tilt forwards and backwards...also i would like to be considerd to be in the rod club( hint hint)
