Voices of the slain, warning those who come after them not to make the same mistakes. Their successors didn't listen. Greedy men never do.
About this creation
I would have had an atmospheric black background and some fancy lighting, but my photography setup is as crude as it is cheap.
Aand the pictures always look slightly blurry to me. Dunno why.
Two copies of the main picture, because the mocpages uploader mucks them up.
As you can see, the expedition aren't the first to search for the sunken city of Atlantis.
They certainly aren't the first to lose crew to the inhabitants of the deep.
How long he's been lying there in what's left of his diving suit really isn't discernible without knowing how much time passed between the Aquanauts expeditions and the more recent Atlantis expedition.
Why? Because I can.
That is the rationale behind at least half the things I do.
The pictures look crystal-clear to me. The vignette itself has a light thoughtful feel... not over-the-top, not depressing, but just about right. Wunderbar.
Very nice. Although I wasn't a lego fan at the time, the aquanaut appearance was nice. Anyways, I was thinking we could use the new Atlantis headgear for the pyro-marines, if we ever decide to make them "official". 5/5!
A nice job of showcasing two similar themes. As for your photo setup, just a few pins and a sheet of black cardboard paper is all you need. Most of what I've shot is done with nothing more than that. Maybe a piece of thin paper over a lamp to diffuse light for softer shadows, but that's it.
