About this creation

These models are somewhat loosely based on the Viper´s from Battlestar Galacita (just recently saw the serie for the first time). First I built one of the "ordinary" fighters, and thought it looked so good that I should create some more ones - so I did. In total there are 4 fighters, including a leader. Each of the fighters only uses 27 bricks.

Here is an above picture of one of the "ordinary" star fighters.

A picture from the side. The ship is close to 8 studs long (a little bit less, but longer then 7 studs) and is about 3 studs wide. The gray technic piece you see is the ships weapon; perhaps it´s a bit over-sized, but I think it looks okey.

A picture of its powerful engines. Very "basic", but it´s hard to fit any other type of engines on such a small ship (but if you know of any other type, please feel free to post a comment, it would be very appreciated).

Here is a picture on the ships belly. First I thought of using white bricks instead of the two black ones (since the rest of the ship is in white and red, except the leader ship thats also yellow) but then I thought it looked nice with the black bricks and I imagine them to be a missile hold or something like that.

I most say I think the leader ship looks very cool with its color scheme.

I would like, once again, to apologize for the bad quality of the pictures, but I hope they aren´t to blurry.

I hope you have enjoyed looking at my first, somewhat succesful, attempt on miniscale/microscale (or whatever these ships are classed as). Please feel free
to rate and post a comment - feedback is always very much appreciated. My next project is to try and make some kind of "Raptor" (from Battlestar Galactica) is the same size (though it might be a little bit of changes, just as on these "Vipers").
